I hope one day, carp fishing, and carp arent a "niche" fish, and they can be respected as a proper sport fish. Check out fish'n canada, pete bowman thinks carp are pretty good, infisherman has also covered carp fishing. I know what catfish eat, i catch them on carp bait all the time. A fish can be a hunter, and a scavenger too. Catfish will eat everything a carp does.

Oct 12, 2009 - bass arent a waste of time. and so wat u hooked a carp in the mouth. ive caught suckers on spinners that were hooked in the mouth (not snagging) and u r right carp run like hell. and ive never cut my fingers before. ive gotten rope burn cause i shot a 35lb carp and i tried to stop it from running which was a very bad idea. and i really have never caught a big enough carp to cut my fingers on the spool. i want to try fly fishing for em though. heard its a blast.
